I just got goose bumps watching this...how wonderful..would love a link to send to my family outside of Alaska showing them your wonderful community coming together at Christmas! Well on second though probably all year long too! Thank you again! Tina K Chugiak, Alaska
what a home town christmas treat. You did a wonderful job putting this piece of art together and involved the whole community. This motivates our youth to expand positive ideas all across the board and not be bored as is the term we hear in small communities. Thanks Quinhagak. send me an autographed picture before you become too famous!
I love this...what a great idea...have watched it five or six times already...just wish I knew how to forward this to some friends....this is the true Alaska. What a great idea...it does makes me smile and also sends goose bumps. Great job.....great participants...great idea. Loved it, just loved it Victoria Knudsen Anchorage, Alaska and Glendale, Arizona
Thanks Jim and Adam for your hard work in getting this posted so the world can see it. I grew up in Unalakleet Alaska 45 years ago and your kids definitely hit a chord with me. I posted it for my friends on Facebook. We wish you and the whole village a very Merry Christmas!
Really this is the most awesome video ever. You all did a superb job. And what a brilliant idea. I know your students (and the community) will never forget this experience.
Wonderful! Great job by you and these great kids! I saw this posted on Facebook today, found it on YouTube, and showed it to all my family. They all loved it. So joyous!
Thanks for doing this; wonderfully creative, and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us. I'll forever have a special place now in my heart for the village of Quinhagak.
I brought a bowl of goodies to this one house yesterday and the this one guy said that he really loved your video and that he kept watching it over and over. I missed out on the Christmas program, I was one day late...but I got to watch the videos how times in one day and also I had to watch it on the news! I wish I were a fifth grader, again! Thanks Mr. B.
This is just awesome! What a bunch of creative and brave kids...and teacher! It looks cold up there, and I'm from Maine, originally, so I'm familiar with cold, but you guys looked cold! :) What a unique way to portray this awesome song. It was amazing and funny all at once! Thanks for that! Merry Christmas to all of you...from a state a bit warmer than yours! :)
It's beautiful!! Thank you and your great students and supportive community for pulling this off. I loved the jumping sled dogs, ha! I, too, will try to spread the video where I can. Everyone should see it.
A former minister of mine sent this to me.... I cried with joy after I finished watching....for the great idea, the work it took to get it done, the sense of exuberance it brought to me and I hope for all involved. jlmc
Hi Jim, I was just sent this video and watched it twice in a row with my 7 year-old daughter. While we laughed at how adorable it was, I found my eyes starting to tear up, too. So touching and fun and cool and amazing and sweet and hilarious and awesome. I'm going to send it on to my adult choir and children's choir families here in San Diego. This must be shared! Thank you!!! Awesome job!!!
I'm from what people consider Northern Canada (Slave Lake, Alberta). I can appreciate winter coats and white-covered spruce trees. Absolutely loved the video. I laughed, I cried. I was quite impressed by the quality of the editing (though I'm not qualified to judge), the creativity, and the artistic interpretation. - John
